Our Liturgy

We are a liturgical congregation which means that our worship follows a set form called a "Liturgy." This set form is not set in stone and is revised from time to time to meet the needs of the congregation.  To view our Liturgy, click here and view it.  At times, parts of the Liturgy may be sung or chanted.  (Don't worry.  If you can't sing, you won't be alone!)  Hymns are also a part of our Liturgy.

This Liturgy is taken from an updated and inclusive version of The Book of Common Prayer of The Episcopal Church along with other adapted resources.

  1. personally I prefer the glory, grandeur, reverence, and awe of the traditional service... rather than the 'Jesus is my buddy, show-up in shorts and a t-shirt, praise-song, hippie reefer-madness'.
